Biography
Daria Patrikeeva is a multidisciplinary artist from Novosibirsk Akademgorodok, currently based in Antwerp, where she studies sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. She works with a wide range of materials, including metal, ceramics, plaster, and oil on canvas, using them to reflect on personal experiences, global events, and the surrounding chaos. In some of her projects, the final outcome takes the form of video works that reveal the narrative behind a specific series.
Her practice explores the subconscious and often draws from past emotional experiences or opens a path toward personal transformation and new perspectives. Recently, she has been working extensively with masks as a way to embody new personas and activate hidden potentials.
Through video, she unfolds narrative layers and brings her creations to life.
